Beverly Wilson Horton, 83, died Friday, October 17, 2014. A native of Tipton, PA, she had been a Hampton resident since 1940 where she was a very active member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church and had served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was the perfect example of a Christian lady and enjoyed reading her bible. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Holston Horton, her sisters, Laverne Baxter and Sarah Tabing, and her brother Noel Wilson; survivors include her sons, Hugh Bryan Horton, II and his spouse, Michael Haner and Timothy Wallace Horton and his spouse, Bonnie; her brother, Bucky Wilson and his spouse, Dot; three grandchildren, Lee Mason, Tonya Pearson and Eddie Jennings; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 conducted by Rev. Eric J. Vaudt.
